1.verify network adaptor setting:

2. very necessary services

remote procedure call
network connections
plug and play
COM+ event system
remote access connection manager
telephony
3.verify the logon setting
COM+ event system,log on,log on as, select local system account.
4.verify desktop interection setting:
network connection service,log on, log on as, select local system account, select "allow service to interect with desktop"
5.verify network services setting,
control panel,add and remove programs,add/remove windows components,network services,details,turn on simple TCP/IP services.
6.verify networj DLL files are registered:
stary, run,cmd.exe, regsvr32 netshell.dll, regsvr32 netcfgx.dll, regsvr32 netman.dll, restart.
7.verify windows protected files in system32 folder are intact:
cmd, sfc/purgecache
8.verify register key are intact:
regedit
HKCRinterface{0000010c-0000-0000-c000-000000000046}
make sure nummethods proxystubclsid32 existed and correct.
9.dcomcnfg.exe to reset default impersonation level
start,run,dcomcnfg,component services,computers,properties,enable distributed COM on this computer,uncheck "default inpersonation level" for "anonymous".
10, create bogus modem to see if network connection appears.
11:clear ghosted network adaptor.
12.remove network adaptor.
13.remove third party network adaptor management program.
14. group policy object,start,run,gpedit.msc:
group policy/user configuration/windows setting/internet explorer maintence/connection/setting
clear on delete existing dial-up connection.
