Seagate FAT issue

This Seagate Freeagent Theater is plugged into the following wired network setups:

Going into a Netgear 16-port 100 megabit switch which is uplinked to a Time warner cable router.

The media is pulled from a DD-WRT OPTWARE equipped router running Samba version 3.5.11.

While playing a video file or DVD ISO across the network and the playback will stop. One of the following two things then happens:

A. Video stops for several seconds, stutters some, pauses again and then resumes normal playback. This may happen multiple times during a single media file. Each time playback is interrupted it takes around 10-30 seconds to resume playback.
OR
B. Video stops and then I get this error message
:Media is Removed.
Stop Playback[OK]

Once a time that I noticed FAT+ ip address dropped to none available. I have to reset FAT+ to regain the control of FAT+.
But from local PC, I still can ping and access SAMBA drive.

Possible solution:
  1. Disable torrent downloads, and/or heavy files transfers on the net.
  2. file related, most of the files that freeze up are mkv/avi file, rmvb filrs are OK.
  3. some suggested frame drops caused by imperfect sync between FAT+ and TV,The TV set is not highend model, .the suggestion of Motionflow/Cinemamode/Theater/24p mode on/off  did ring a bell when I test TV setting.
  4. Using composite Video/Audio connection instead HDMI, yet the info that I stump about pin 13 of HDMI cable issue, its worthy noted here."disabling pin 13 on the HDMI cable, see if that fixes the problem. Pin 13 9CEC communication)on the player is sending the wrong signal to HDMI devices."

[Edit]: This media removed message pop up again, before that I noticed there's stop warning sign appear on the left top corner 2 or 3 times. My transmission GUI  traffics were heavily loaded. It also drop FAT+ ip address, just simply power on/off through remote controller will not bring FAT+ unit back with its static IP. I have to unplug and plug in the power cord for it to connect to the network again.
Disable transmission traffic seems to be the temporary solutions for nohow. I will work on balance traffics load later.

How to embed a You Tube player in blogger

Look at the right hand side of video on Youtube.com, just right next to the player, a box captioned "About this Video".
Copy what labeled Embed onto the clipboard, this is complete HTML code you need to embed this video on your blogger.
Now you paste this text into the HTML page of blogger. Resize the height and width of the object and embed tags as you see fit.
You may also click on "customize" to include "show borde" into your embed video code.
To wrap the text to the right of the player, put div tags around the entire block of code and set the style to float:left.
and set a margin, so the text will not cross over on the player.
<div style="margin: 2px; float: left;"><******The code you cut from youtube*******></div>

How To Create Embed Image Mail In Gmail

  1. upload your image to online image host(photobucket, flickr, imageshack.us .......), enable it for public view
  2. load the picture in your browser, drag your mouse across the image so the whole image gets selected or highlighted (it would turn dark to indicate that it is successfully highlighted/selected).
  3. then while it is selected/highlighted, right-click your mouse over it, then from the menu which appears, choose COPY.
  4. go to your GMAIL account, then COMPOSE MAIL. use RICH FORMATTING instead of PLAIN TEXT. then press CTRL-V to paste the copied image in your message body. the image will then show and appear embedded. fill out the recipients of your email, then send away!
  5. it will not appear as an attachment as it will directly access the online image from where you uploaded it when recipient views your email with embedded image.
  6. if "copy" function disappear(greyed out) in FireFox browser, try open Internet explorer.

Blogger Backup Utility

Backup or not?
It is not a question, the question is what need to be backup and how do I do it?
I used google docs to edit my docs also saved it in my local computer,
upload photo pixs to Picasa/Photobucket site.
After that it is published to my blogspot site.
So if I've saved google docs in my document folder and pixs in my picture folder,
isn't that a backup already?
maybe I have to back up the structures of blogger too.
So this blogger backup utility may be handy for this purpose. (download)
Installed, Test-run, And have the XML files save inmy local folder.
what is next?
How am I to test this backup works?
Am I supposed to delete all my blogs then restored back onto the internet to make sure that this backup work?
